How much does 'humour' play a role in attraction then?
I always make girls laugh around me, they love my wit and humour.
That never seems to be enough though.
Humor plays as much of a role as the attracted person wants/needs it to play. People love to FEEL GOOD and HAVE FUN. Laughing FEELS GOOD and is FUN. So yes, it is attractive. But it's far from the only piece of the puzzle.
may i ask what are the other pieces?
Im guessing, being well groomed, well dressed is a huge part too?
I feel when it comes to banter, wit, humour im usually at the top but no idea how to get from that to a lay/relationship etc
Attraction is a result of a variety of variables, some of which are constant, and the vast majority of which are not. So I could tell you some of what the most common ones are, but by no means all of them, and neither is it true that all of them apply to any given person.
Some of the most common triggers for attraction in a heterosexual woman are usually:
- Confidence
- Congruent attitude, body language and actions
- Smells good consciously (fragrance/clean)
- Smells good subconsciously (pheromone signature)
- Symmetrical body
- Strong adherence to Phi (1.618:1 ratio in body parts)
- Has ample resources
- Has ample respect from others
- Is comfortable with themselves
- Is attractive to others
- Is safe to be around
- is predictable in the right ways, and unpredictable in the right ways (the right ways varies from woman to woman, unfortunately)
- Reminds her of her father figure to the right degree/differs from her father figure to the right degree (again, which one is important and what the degree is, differs from woman to woman)
- Makes her feel what she wants and needs to feel (fun, safe, protected, taken care of, unrestricted, etc. - specifics again differ from woman to woman, and necessary degree does also)
- Attractive energy signature
