RE: US/LM run - Paul1131 - 11-18-2018

I don’t think that you can even give a sub to someone else when you aren’t using it. Don’t get me wrong, I completely get why Shannon did what he did with the anti piracy component. He’s selling a product that can be replicated instantly and infinitely by anyone who has it.

RE: US/LM run - Shannon - 11-19-2018

Quote:We discussed purchasing another copy of USLM so that she could be fully on it herself. I told her about the anti piracy thing. She didn’t seem to get it, and eventually said that she didn’t want to spend the extra money so she declined to go on it. I am continuing this journey on my own. Ok, that’s her choice.
By the way Shannon, is there any way you would modify the anti piracy statements in future programs so that it is ok to share it with family members who live in the same home? I can’t be the only one who doesn’t have the same schedule as their spouse. If we did, she’d be exposed as I listened anyway. I think it would be great if we could run the new LTU , but I am not going to pay five hundred plus dollars twice. No disrespect intended and I won’t mention it again, but I think being able to share it with someone who I’d normally share sleeping space with is reasonable. Please understand I am requesting, not trying to demand, and doing so with respect.
I remembered another dream. This is the second within a week, and I normally only remember two or three a year.

If you purchase one copy, then there is one owner, and one person who has paid to benefit from the program. That's fair.

The fact that I consider it fair use for others to benefit from the program while you are using it for yourself, if they are exposed, is more than generous on my part. It provides you with an easy way to let multiple people benefit, while only paying for it once. That is less money in my pocket.

What you don't seem to understand is that there has to be a balance of exchange. "sharing it with family members who live in the same home" is PIRACY. That's why it's not allowed. You are paying for not only the program, but the right to use it whenever you please. Those who have not paid for it have no such right, and they can only benefit from it when you use it, because you have that right.

What you're asking me to do here is modify the AP code so that it allows piracy, because it's inconvenient. That's pretty ridiculous.

You can give the sub away when you're not using it, but when you give it away, you have to fully relinquish ownership of it. It is no longer yours, and you must delete all copies of it in your possession.

This is another one of those things that I consider fair use that can be used to screw me, because you can just pass it back and forth between several people this way all the time. But then I make 1 sale and several people benefit, and I have much less income, and much less incentive to keep working, don't I.

If you want to use your copy, then use it, but your wife has to listen to it as a consequence of your using it for yourself. It would work perfectly for you to listen to it at night while you are sleeping in either the same bed or the same room. Isn't that generous enough?

RE: US/LM run - Paul1131 - 11-19-2018

That is quite generous. The only reason I asked was that we don’t sleep at the same time five nights a week. I work graveyard shift. She’s being exposed two nights a week. She’s describing a sense that she’s “arguing” with whatever is on the sub. She’s getting enough to resist hard, but not enough to see any forward progress. It’s having some noticeable negative effects. Anyway, it’s moot, we’ve discussed it, and she doesn’t want to be on it regardless.
I am learning that my wife is very resistant to change in herself or anything in her environment, and that seems to include positive changes in me. It’s ok, I can’t force her. I can keep going and improving myself.
This is probably a silly question, but I assume she’d have to KNOW that I paid for a second copy for it to work. Is that right?

You can just leave it playing 24/7 in your bedroom. That will give you more than 5 loops of exposure at a time, but it would allow you both to be exposed without triggering copy protection, and because it is more exposure than 5 loops, it may work better against her resistance. That may or may not have an impact on how well it works for you to be getting that much exposure. I cannot know.

If you get a second copy, you or she would have to download that copy from the store for her, and if you did it, you would have to delete any copies of it in your possession, for her to be able to use it on her own. If she doesn't want to use it because she is fighting it and won't use it enough to get past that resistance to change, then getting another copy isn't going to do anyone any good. So your only option is to leave it playing 24/7 in your bedroom if you want her to be affected.

I suggest that on the one hand, playing it to her without her knowledge or consent isn't a good idea. On the other hand, if she refuses to grow with you, and you refuse to stagnate, there is a high likely hood that you will grow apart. I have been through that several times myself with ex's and seen it happen many times with others as well.

The rest is up to you.

EDIT: For this to work (24/7) you would have to use it in ultrasonic format, and you would want to use it at a moderate to moderately high (but not high) volume. Between 50 and 80% of the maximum usable volume.

This is exactly my experience. I have been with the same gf since beginning to listen to subs. When I began I first listened to AM6 and SM3 I evolved while my gf did not so we began to grow apart. When I first started listening to DMSI initially I didn’t expose her. She doesn’t believe a silent subliminal could possibly work so told me to play it whenever was convenient for me. From then on she has been exposed to most of my DMSI then USLM loops. I can see that she has grew as a person after both DMSI and USLM (although she maintains she hasn’t been effected lol) and our relationship has improved and strengthened. I must say even though exposing her to DMSI worked for us I couldn’t recommend it and Shannon has warned against it numerous times. I can see how it could be a disaster for some. Our relationship happened to be rocky when she first started being exposed and quite frankly I didn’t care if things went south. But they didn’t. They improved dramatically. We have since healed and grew together.

RE: US/LM run - Paul1131 - 11-20-2018

Thank You, Shannon. I wouldn’t expose her or anyone to a mind altering influence without their knowledge and consent. That doesn’t fit into my sense of ethics. I think that what I’m going to do is finish my first three months on version three exactly as directed, and then try the 24/7 plan if she’s ok with it.
At least her surface objection is paying for another copy, not using the program.

RE: US/LM run - Paul1131 - 11-23-2018

Just completed my two day break. This time there was almost no return of the negative thought patterns and self talk that have troubled me since I was a kid. I’m not feeling the surges of enthusiasm that I was getting on version two, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. I feel generally good, I’m still practicing those effective habits that I’ve developed, and still have big plans for the new year.

RE: US/LM run - Paul1131 - 11-26-2018

For the first time since I switched to version three, the highly optimistic, somewhat euphoric feeling came back. Toward the end of my loops for this evening it occurred to me that I should be more organized about what exactly my current goals are and how I’m going to go about achieving them. Someone on here said that it would be better to write them down on paper rather than on a phone app or something. While this was something I had kind of known that I should do before, it just sort of popped into my head as a fully formed idea that I need to take action on NOW in the same way as the to do list and a couple of other new positive habits I’ve developed on this thing.
I came up with six goals that I want to have achieved by the end of 2019. I wrote them down on the first page of a notebook. Because We’re not supposed to focus on more than three, I dedicated the second page to my currently active goals. I am allowed to have two at a time, and as I achieve one I cross it off and add another from the list. My currently active goals are:
- Add at least $1,000.00 to my monthly take home income.
- Have my home and property looking neat, clean, and respectable inside and out.
As soon as I had mentally committed to doing that, I felt great. I was excited about doing it, and excited about achieving the goals I set for myself. It was a somewhat more mellow euphoria than I was getting on one and two, but all the better for that. I once again felt a surge of chi, energy, whatever you want to call it rushing around my head. I spent the last forty minutes or so of my loops pacing around and repeating the first one of those goals (mostly in my head, but I did move my lips a bit). I’m sure anyone watching would have thought I was a good candidate for a padded presidential suite. I could sort of feel the words going into the energy field. I am quite sure that it won’t be long before I can check that goal off and move on to another.
It seems that whatever slow down I experienced when I switched to three is over, and I’m back to steady progress.

RE: US/LM run - Paul1131 - 11-28-2018

I got some interesting information about that job interview I did a month or so ago. A good friend of mine has contact with one of the people who was on my interview board. She had said that I was their top choice. I do not know what happened between my having the top interview and my receiving a thanks but no thanks letter, but clearly something did. There is a background check here, but I don’t think they’d started it yet, plus there is nothing in my background that should have caused a problem.
This is bad news and good. It’s bad in that there might be an inaccurate piece of information about me that’s very easily accessible, or I had some other piece of just plain bad luck. If there’s bad info out there, I am going to have a difficult time finding it, and a harder time fixing it. However if it needs to be done, I’ll do it.
It’s good in that my interviewing skills are clearly light years beyond what they were, and are now enough to make me competitive With other candidates in my field. I put that down to the FRM, and I’d only done a week on the first version at the time.
After my last post, I kind of chanted my first goal over and over for the rest of work and until I fell asleep. I woke up still doing it. I think that USLM has been properly aimed at that goal, but I still restate the goal whenever I think of it.
