RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 03-19-2026 Heads Up: General Pain Relief v1.0 was published a while ago, but I never attached the files somehow... I remember doing it, but they weren't attached, so who knows. Anyway, that has been corrected. It is now available again (for subscription only) here: https://subliminal-shop.com/products/general-pain-relief-6g RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 03-25-2026 I haven't been very active on the forums lately, but that's because I'm so busy working on the back end. We are making some significant changes that will make things better. Most of this will not be obvious from the end user/consumer perspective, but it should streamline my workflow and allow me to work faster. It will make my job easier to do, and will improve our quality control process. I think we're doing quite well with quality control, but I saw an opportunity to improve it, so why wouldn't I? Anyway, I'm currently working on building the Sleep Aid Level 1. The new work flow is taking a little getting used to, but I should have it built sooner than later, and then we can get back to working on AAMTS v7 Stage 7, from which all of the other stages will be created. Once Stage 7's script is finished, it won't take me much work at all (relative to getting Stage 7 finished) to build and publish Stage 1. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 03-28-2026 I have built (and to some degree tested) Sleep Aid Level 1. It works, but I think it would be better to just make one version that should work for everyone... what do you all think? RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 03-28-2026 Just so you know, I'm using Sleep Aid to help develop a faster workflow, and that will translate to being able to develop and build AAMTS v7 faster. So it's not a distraction, it's just a much easier way to develop this new workflow. I'll be finishing work on Stage 7's script starting next month, and should be done upgrading it within the first 7 to 14 days of next month. Then we should be able to build and publish Stage 1 from it before the end of the month, and from there, it should be relatively easy to do 1+ stages per month. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 03-29-2026 Good things are happening behind the scenes. Tomorrow, I'll be working on Stage 7 again, with a vengeance. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 03-30-2026 Been getting to bed very late recently, for about a week it's 4-5 am, and then I sleep till 2-3 PM, and then by the time I have "breakfast" the day is so off kilter that everything screws up my plans. Last night seems to have been no exception, except that when I was ready to do my thing today, I encountered a very unusual situation in which "taking a snapshot" to update my backup disks turned into a doom loop of, the backup failed, but it kept insisting that it could continue the backup, and failing, without understanding that it failed. Took me a while to figure out the solution, which of course them resulted in a situation that has forced it to do not a simple differential backup of what has changed since last time, but a complete backup; which between the two disks will require about 4 to 6 hours, and kill my plans for doing anything worth a damn all day. I am not happy... although this is certainly par for the course lately. As soon as possible, I will be working on finishing the development and preparation of Stage 7. It still needs plenty of it to be upgraded to the latest 6G scripting methods... and once that endless horror is finished, I then have to go through and restore the upgraded parts I had to strip for processing. These two steps will hopefully only need another couple weeks or less to complete. In the mean time, I am almost finished building the Sleep Aid 6G that attempts to be the One Sleep Aid To Rule Them All. We shall see if it performs sufficiently for publication, or if it needs further improvements. General Pain Relief - Prototype 26 is going into testing shortly also, although I know nobody cares about that one. But once the Master Key Script for AAMTS v7 is finished, it should be full steam ahead for building the Ascendant Alpha Male set. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 03-31-2026 I thought 6G was operating at the limits of physics for the amount of information density in a second of sound at 24 bit depth/48 kHz sample rate, but I stand corrected... apparently, some of the scripts can be packed even more tightly, into what I am calling "Extreme Density Subliminals" (XD titles). We are now testing this concept. If it passes testing, we will be adding this type of subliminal to our library. But, as I stated, not all scripts can be built as Extreme Density subliminals. There are practical limits, and there are absolute limits to what can be built as an XD subliminal. For example, it takes a LOT more disk space, and a LOT more recording time, and a LOT more processing time to make one of these titles. But the potential benefits make it worth the effort and cost under certain circumstances. Because it is so much more work, time, electricity and space to build (and back up) an XD subliminal, if we do end up adding this to our library, titles that are built as XD subliminals will not also be built as "standard 6G" subliminals. They will exist as XD titles only. And because it takes more time, energy, disk space, backup space, processing power, etc. they will cost more to make. So expect that if they do make it to the library, they will be more than $650 to purchase. However, I am aiming to try to keep the subscription price as low as possible, so they remain accessible. So far I have test built three titles as XD subliminals. One of them is in testing. One is getting prepped for testing, and one is in the process of being built. I know what this XD process theoretically should do, but we will be testing them in real life to verify that that is what it actually does, and that it is worth my time to make and your money to buy before I actually publish anything as an XD subliminal. And no... this is not an April Fool's joke.
RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 04-02-2026 So the sleep aid flopped, not because I can't make it work, but because I forgot how complicated it was to get all the parts working together without cross interference. Two variants tested and did not pass testing, and we obviously ran out of time last month. So sleep aid is on the back burner again. I should be able to finish work on upgrading and optimizing the Master Key Script for AAMTS in 2-3 more days. After that I have to restore the meta-scripting to all of the statements, and then... well then, we start building Stage 1. But I don't know how long that last step will take. I do know that we will have Stage 1 published by the end of this month. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 04-04-2026 The script upgrade for the Master Key Script of AAMTS v7 is done. Now we start working on Stage 1. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 04-16-2026 Today... after much work to prepare and verify and make sure of what is what... Stage 1 of AAMTS v7 is being built. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 04-17-2026 AAMTS v7 Stage 1 is built, has passed quality control, and is being analyzed to make sure that it can perform as necessary for a script this large and complex. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 04-18-2026 Oh boy... things just got reeeaaalllly interesting. Please hold for Stage 1. It would appear that I need to rebuild it. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 04-19-2026 Heads up: Just discovered (a couple days ago) and verified (today) that CM 5.11G also has the ability to relieve mild to moderate nausea in between 5 and 20 minutes in the test cases we have thrown at it so far. RE: Shannon's Journal, Volume 3 - Shannon - 04-22-2026 Alright, I think the repairs we were waiting for have been finished and the system is working correctly again. Tomorrow I'll try to set up a pre-order page for Stage 1. It will probably be a few days until it's published, but I'll be going full steam ahead to get it published ASAP. |
