Shannon, based on your previous statements..... 2 days to script a focus fire, plus 2 days to build 1 ... then its entirely possible and more like probable that you could have two of them done by months end or at the latest, first week of March.

What say you?

Also good to 'hear'  that 'in some ways" as you put it,you've  already begun work on UMSv2., how ever little that maybe, its a start.

Lately, I have been estimating having things take a few days and ending up working on them forever.  Usually because of a combination of, the new tech takes longer than I expected to build; the script I'm upgrading is bigger and more complex than I remembered it was; I suffer distractions, health issues, forced work stoppages, and so forth.  Really not so surprising considering the last cycle peak so close, but I'd hoped it would be over sooner than this.

The question is, will the focus fire subs I had in mind be the best choice by the time I finally finish MLS?  That remains to be seen.

 OK good enought. thank you.

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Griffin - 02-21-2021

Hey Shannon, if you are having money issues, one solution, could be to make the first stage of UMS, then people will pay for the whole set, and since it's probably the most anticipated sub a lot of people will buy it, of course you considered this before and decided to build the whole set before releasing,
But I think a lot of us would also appreciate to have it earlier rather than later.
It would be a day one buy from me for sure.

BTW: I am stopping OFv2 right now after being on OFv1 and v2 for almost 8 months total. I will jump over to UMSv1, hoping that the run of OF will boost my UMS success.

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - samba99 - 02-21-2021

Shannon,
At this point, how far is 6g? Do you think your next major breakthrough could possibly results in 5.80g sub? Or we still going to be in the 5.75 territory?

Another question regarding UMS usage. I remember this program usage instructions was different than this.

Should I use it this way? 5 days off seems different than most of other sub instructions

"Use this program 2 loops per day for 3 days on and then take 5 days off. Run all loops back to back to prevent breaking the Audio to Silence Ratio Balance (ASRB) and losing its benefits."

@Shannon

How long is a loop on MLS 4.0?

We have been trying to make a PDF of it for exactly that reason, but things have gotten so complicated that it's getting hard to remember all the different steps.  Ben is on it though.

Last time I built an advanced 6-stage set, I started taking orders before I had it made, and then released 1 stage per month and tried to build something else each month as well.  I really, really don't want to do that again.  I really want to build the whole set and be done before I release it.  But that may not be feasible or possible, depending on the circumstances.  We shall see.  I guess I will do whatever produces the best results, regardless of what it is I want.

I have found that having tun OF has definitely boosted my UMSv1 results.

Another doubt, do you think it can help with lewy bodies dementia, it is similar to Alzheimer.

Is it on this list? https://subliminal-talk.com/Thread-Loops-and-ASRB2-ratios-for-5-5g-programs

And yeah, I did start doing that then I forgot as I wasn't in the habit of it. I've also noticed and had pointed out that the instructions between the older programs and the newer ones can be confusing for new people so i'm considering combining what relates in the old instructions with the usage patterns in a pdf for each program. Had a fair bit on for the weekend, but i'll start that this week.

As Shannon said things with the development has moved so quickly that there's more steps. Before it was just 'here's the instructions for each program' and now each is different.

Thanks for your help ben it was on the list, i managed to find it by using the Internet wayback machine (long way for a shortcut). Doesnt matter anyway as i think I'm gonna try the new MLS instead.

I still think it would be good to copy and paste the description and instructions from the sales page when a new sub is released to a .txt file and have it linked with the files when they are released like the md5 file thats linked with each sub. Then aslong as someone has access to the sub in their downloads they can redownload the instructions and the descriptions.

Thanks again

RE: Shannon's Journal Discussion Thread, Vol. 5 - Benjamin - 02-21-2021

Yeah i'll start doing some of those for the latest programs in pdf.

To anyone who ordered MLS and just got a confirmation with no links, I figured out that it's because I didn't put the links on the page. So sorry that you got multiple confirmation emails, that's because I had to manually do a few things that it usually does automatically then manually resend the email. I checked and it does have the links in the emails now.

Not sure yet.  There is a lot of work to do on harvesting Beast and optimizing the skeleton script for 6G yet, but the question is whether circumstances will allow me the time to do so.  I'm trying to do a little work on the skeleton script each time I build something, but Beast is going to be a beast, and I will have to spend probably more than a month just extracting, translating, transferring and optimizing the modules from that alone.

I don't know if there will be a next major breakthrough ( suspect there's at least one more), or if so, when it will happen.  I also have pretty much decided that I'm going to stick with version numbers 5.75.xG until I have done the transfer from Beast and perhaps finished optimizing the skeleton script.  We will probably be at 5.75.6G for a little while from here.  Most of the remaining job to get to 6G is optimizing Platinum Lake, skeleton script, and transferring Beast modules.

"Use this program 2 loops per day for 3 days on and then take 5 days off.  Run all loops back to back to prevent breaking the Audio to Silence Ratio Balance (ASRB) and losing its benefits."

5 days off is aimed at allowing you to find the best timing for yourself.  Observe the falloff for 5 days, and then adjust your days off to the maximum amount of time you can still feel it working, but which doesn't make you feel exhausted.

You can also experiment with increasing days on and loops per day.  UMS was one of the first programs
