Shannon has mentioned that anxiety comes from fear. I think that OF would be the best solution in the end but might take longer as it's not just sorely focused on the anxiety in the way ARA is. But OF will go deeper in the end.

My brother has severe Paranoid Schizophrenia.

I've used each version of OF, EHPRA, as well as ARA for him.

By far, the most effective to date, is OF 5.75G in managing the paranoia. I would fully recommend OF 5.75G.

OF 5.75G obsoletes the current version of ARA and possibly all future versions.  All anxiety is just a child of fear.  If I was to "update ARA" using FRM 4.9, you know what you'd get?  Something disturbingly similar to OF 5.75G.

As a past, frequent sufferer from acute anxiety, I'd argue that while OF may be the best longterm approach, anxiety can be crippling in-the-moment.  If it's that bad, I'd say ARA is the best fit until it's under control.  The ARA program has FRM 4.8 to remove the fears behind the anxiety, and instructions to permanently outgrow and overcome the causes of the anxiety.

So FRM 4.8 worked better than 4.9 in your case?

I think he's saying that ARA might be more effective short term because it's directly targeting anxiety. And although FRM 4.9 isn't present, it does use FRM 4.8, which is the next best thing.

Exactly.

OF 5.75G obsoletes ARA.  When you have anxiety in the moment, try running OF.  ARA is using a less powerful skeleton script, a less complete skeleton script, a less powerful FRM and a less powerful build method.  And I want to make money just like everyone else, but since all anxiety is basically just the conscious fingers of a subconscious fear, what you need is the most powerful way to deal with fear.

Almost all the subliminals works in some level for everyone, for some of them they work really well and others they have work only a little (I'm talking about the mind and intern stuff, there are other more difficult to work). The difference that I see is that for the people that work better, you can see that they usually are more positive and in general they have more success in general in other things, I don't know if the reason is that they are positive or that they have a better program in their mind for the success or even if both are related. Any way, the idea is that maybe a program such OF with a programation for being being positive and successful, after using something like this, or just a program for being positive and successful idk...could make work better all the other programs...maybe even with the programa of attracting women and money.

As Ben said, we already have that covered in the skeleton script.

Hope the vacation is going good. I'm not sure if you're responding to forum stuff during it and just not working on subs.

I'm curious, I'm 141 days in on IYPS. Is it possible to be at that point, but yet see no growth, and still have growth be possible? I have a weird situation where erections are far from perfect still due to PIED. I have a lack of sexual options to test, due to covid and otherwise as you know. Even though I am a follower of nofap, the erection issue makes it hard to pin down real growth even if I wasn't. So, I've been going largely off of flaccid size, which can fluctuate. Over time, it has remained the same I think, give or take. It's SO hard to quantify with flaccid size, due to such fluctuations. I naturally can't tell if the erect size has measurably changed either. So, I'm kinda flying blind here. Like I said before, it's the same "feelings" of cell division like during PE I used to do, but it's harder now to tell if the growth is happening with the sub.

Just wondering if it's worth it to continue to 192 days, or if I should just switch to something else. Feels like DMSI is still a long ways out for some reason...so I want to make the next few months of listening worth it. I'd switch to OF if I was to come off this, to prepare for the eventual DMSI release.

Bonus question: You mentioned you introduced some modules etc. in OF I think. You said you'd introduce a few more modules in LTU, then a few more on top of that in DMSI. Is this still the plan and has this been occurring?

Thanks, Shannon. Enjoy your vacation.

In your shoes, I would switch to either LTU6 or OF.

And yes, that's the plan that has been happening.

Imagine you have a sewer grate on the side of the road.  If you put a scary clown in the sewer and call him "fear" then "anxiety" would be his fingers coming up through the grate.  The sewer, in this case, represents the "hidden subconscious", and the outside of the grate represents toe conscious awareness.  Anxiety is literally nothing more than the conscious fingers of a subconscious fear reaching into your conscious awareness.

You want OF 5.75G.

I have been noticing increasingly interesting and sometimes very violent dreams over the past week

The most noteworthy I think might be where I was shot in the stomach and then I died for a bit following which I was resuscitated and effectively brought back to life upon which I proceeded to watch as they pulled the bullet out of me and patch me up

Very interesting stuff- and this was on OF

That is the subconscious "fear of death" being overcome.

Hi @Shannon

If the root cause of having a desire/cravings to consume alcohol regularly (especially in social situations) can be traced back to fear- then what root cause can the desire to smoke everyday be traced back towards? Or the desire to consume drugs or even the excessive intake of caffeine either via coffee or through some supplement, etc

People start smoking about 98% of the time because they are afraid of not being part of the group they want to be part of (not fitting in).  The other 2% is things like afraid that their parents don't love them, so they do something they know is self destructive to try to force a display of caring.

People then discover they are addicted, and this scares them into continuing to smoke because they keep hearing how hard it is to quit, how uncomfortable, how miserable, how unpleasant... which their subconsciously happily obliges by creating for them if and when they try to quit.  The exception being people who are primarily intellectually focused, who discover they can "quit whenever they want to", so they keep stopping and starting until they can no longer "quit whenever they want to", and then they keep going out of fear of withdrawal and failure, just like the rest.

People quit smoking for one of three reasons:

1. They found a good hypnotist/NLP practitioner who erased the social hypnosis that makes it hard to quit.
2. They used a good subliminal that erases the social hypnosis that makes it hard to quit.
3. They fear the consequences of smoking more than they fear the consequences of quitting.

People drink alcohol, smoke and do recreational drugs for only two reasons: to hide from something they fear and/or to escape pain.

My mindset makes me not be stuck in that failure. My framing of the result is that I'm confident that it will eventually happen but the timing isn't right. This is an opportunity to grow in something else in the meantime.

I have some sort of fluidity in how I navigate in life. I always keep moving.

In fact, what you suggest about using OF to unlock results for all of the other programs, is exactly what I am trying out right now...

As this things are already inside and they still dont work for some people we should do ir consciously as you do for improving the results meanwhile we see if OF will help with this in the future.

Didn't you measure it before you dive in IYPS? I think that's the best indicator whether you got an improvement

Yes I did, Reki.

It's been difficult to quantify the difference throughout for the reasons I described earlier. Bit complicated, sadly. So I asked Shannon if it was worth it to continue or move to OF.

Seems like OF can be a good sub to listen to until the next DMSI.

Hope you're doing good with things.
