AM7 Group Chat

I won't be running AAM7 except for Stage 0, but I love the idea of the group chat and wanted to chime in.

As far music goes, my musical taste changes based on the subliminal I'm using and what it's working on. It usually falls into the rock/metalz category, but the specifics of which songs I'm drawn to change. It's really interesting; it's why I'm posting songs all over my journals.

I love that! Keep posting songs, and let me know what you think of the songs I posted in my response to Frosted if you're invested and have the bandwidth.

Subs have definitely changed my taste in music to an extent. Not artificially, but organically as I developed. I used to be heavily into breaking benjamin and three days grace. I still like them, but I've moved onto more deftones style stuff. Some of my favorite songs are: Cherry Waves, Sextape, Xerces, Everlong, Entombed. Probably my favorite song of all time is "Is it really you?" by Loathe. I like washed out shoegazy songs that are both hard and soft.

I'm also a giga introvert. I love that this program exists, because the idea of genuine hardcore self mastery/transcendence very deeply appeals to me on a soul level. I like that Shannon has gone above and beyond to put something like AM7 out as and has continuously chosen to focus on quality above everything else.

The other two are songs I liked, and I’d listen to in a club, but not on my casual playlist probably. But if you listened to a few of the songs I recommended, you might understand why.


Gonna be honest, I just looked at the lyrics for Cherry Waves and realized I had no idea what they were until now lol. The lyrics are completely different than you would expect the song to be. Oh and I forgot to mention Everlong is by Foofighters, not Deftones, but it gives me a similar feeling as the other tracks anyways.

You don’t have to be running AM7 to chime in as long as it’s in the spirit of AM7/men’s locker room. I just realized I diverged a bit with the music talk…. But it’s fine as long as we don’t go too far. 

Interesting that your taste changes so rapidly on subliminals. I’ve found that my taste has diverged, but it’s happened over a long time horizon.

To get a bit more back on topic, why did you quit AM7, if I may ask? I hadn’t been keeping super up to date with all the journals on the forum recently.

I didn't quit per se, I was only planning to run Stage 0 stand-alone for the healing goodness. Frankly, I feel alpha enough as it is.

But I've been running healing subs since December at least and now I'm a bit tired of them. So I'm taking a break to DMSI a bit, and then OSC in 6.5G once the update is out (with DRS v2/3).

I'll chime in.  I decided that in order to properly support you guys with full understanding of the set, I have to run it too, even though doing so is very difficult living with my girlfriend, and I don't particularly feel like I need to run it.  I'm posting this here because I do not plan to keep a journal of my experiences, but this might help someone understand the program.

I'm on the last day of my 2nd cycle of Stage 1, and it's been really eye opening.  I'm honestly stunned how fast, how hard and how deep 6.5G is hitting. 

My experience so far has been 5 weeks of TID (started before I even knew 6,5G would exist, or that I was going to run AAMTS v7).  It consisted of feeling bloated and not being very hungry.  That's obviously a subconscious anxiety response.  Then a week before I started running it (still didn't know I'd be running it), I stopped having that, it faded out.  Then a couple days before I started running it - STILL didn't know I'd be running it - my dreams changed.  They went from being "I only remember what I was dreaming when I woke up" to an awareness that I was having dreams that seemed to be 3-5x longer per dream than normal, and back to back, seemingly all night long.

It was a fairly snap decision to run the program, but when I started, my dreams just... disappeared.  The first day, there was an uneasy feeling while I was running it, and before I went to sleep. 

The second day, it was stronger, and I could feel various things coming up and being worked through.  There was this sense (and visual) of me about to step out on a tightrope high wire, 30+ stories up to cross between two buildings, with no safety net and no balance pole.  Before I did, I had the distinct feeling that I knew this was no just going to happen, but there was definite confidence that I could do it and succeed.  What I felt was that very last feeling of, "I know I can do this, but what if?"  It was swept away in under 15 minutes.  Also during that day there were short (10-30 minute) bouts of fear, nausea and stomach upset, all of which came and went in record time.  No memory of that night's dreams at all.

The third day, I woke up and felt like I was coming to consciousness laying  on my back on the side of the railroad tracks, in the middle of the night, as the cold wet rain steadily poured down on me. Becoming aware that I was on my back, that it was a brightly lit full moon night, and that I could feel the hard ground and rocks in my back - and then that I hurt everywhere all at once (except emotionally).  That I could only have ended up like this if I had been hit by the freight train at full speed, but I had no memory of that happening.  That day was not fun, comfortable or pretty.  That was May 5th, which also turns out to be a Pluto station, if you know what that means.  Not sure how much that factors in, but I thought I would mention it.  Hard day to get through.

That night I started remembering parts of dreams again, but it wasn't the back to back all night long forced march of the two nights before I started.  The next day was a day off, and it was surprisingly easy to handle.

This second cycle has been MUCH easier to handle.  More dreams, but again, no the forced match type.  Longer, more intricate, more detailed dreams...

I had a zombie dream on the night after my first day off, and that dream was very eye opening.  In it, I lived in a mansion that was in the Deep South of the United States, somewhere like Louisiana, which had farm fields around it.  I remember that I was aware that there were zombies about, and I was heading back to the mansion for safety, when I encountered my brother (dream brother only, no such thing) on the path to the front door, and he had three zombies around him, but they were just standing there.  I said, "What on earth are you doing?"  He replied, "I figured out how to tame the zombies, want me to teach you how?"  My response was, "No, I need to get inside to get to safety."

Later, I had a zombie find me in the mansion and I had to escape, back outside, but my brother was gone.  I was kicking myself for not letting him teach me how to tame them.  And then I found myself alone near the mansion, analyzing the dream while dreaming it.  I have never done that before, to my knowledge.  My analysis was that the zombies represent part of me that are trying to stay static while the subliminal makes changes, and they don't like the changes, so they mindlessly attack "me".  They're unable to think at all, or think logically - literally zombie mode - but they know that change will somehow disrupt them.  So they attack.  This was a big revelation in the dream, and I remember going on to make profound comprehension advancements, but I don't remember what they were.  This understanding of what the "zombies" are is big in real life, though.

I have been very tired the last week or so and I imagine a big part of this is running this program, with it making the changes it's making in spite of any and all efforts at trying to fight the program, which does not seem to be going well for the parts trying to fight.  They seem to be relatively quickly and easily overridden, which very much impresses me.  I spent a considerable amount of time on the ASS/ART in 6.5G before making the upgrade.

It also amazes me that I started being so much more assertive and expressive of my position starting on Day 3.  This stage isn't designed to do that... it's designed to finish healing and clearing, and boot camp your ass into gear to be ready to start Stage 2, where the real alpha training begins.  To have the effects of the alpha training start showing up on Stage 1, Day 3, was mind blowing.

I have noted that my subconscious has only two ways that it can still fight the program.  One is by "forgetting" to run it.  That's happened most days, but some other part always reminds me at the last minute.  The second is by resisting going to sleep.  Last "night", for example, I was ready for bed at 2 AM (early for my usual sleep schedule) but somehow I didn't actually get to bed until almost 7 AM.  The night before, I went to bed and slept 14 hours.  Last night, I slept 10.  Normal for me, when I am allowed to sleep until I awaken naturally, is roughly 10-12 hours.  

The night I slept 14 hours, might have had to do with me doing overload testing.  I ran a 6G program for 30 minutes along with my loop.  It made me DEADLY exhausted.  This is the first time I have ever felt like the exhaustion went beyond "I have been awake 36 hours, and my eyes and face are melting."  It was like that, but powered by a nuclear reactor going full tilt.  Unbelievably exhausted.  I definitely don't recommend it.

Anyway, that's been my experience so far.  I'm not going to be keeping a journal.  Might make posts occasionally here or in my own journal about my experience, but this might helps someone, so here it is.  There's something I am forgetting, but... I forgot what it is.

Quite interesting the last days have also been quite intense for me dream wise woke up from multiple dreams sweat drenched almost after stressful situations life and death sitiations happening in my dreams maybe TID of the stage 0 6.5 plus effects from the 6 G version.

On May the 17th ill be 3 months into running Stage 0 in 6G I wonder when I switch how long i should run tbe 6.5 Version ?

To answer that though you probably need the usage pattern of the 6.5 Version.

@Benjamin Dang, I was hoping this thread would be an exception due to the low forum count :p. It's fine though since I think AM7 users are hardcore enough to find this thread in this section anyways. Apologies for not posting in the correct section from the start.


Props to @ncbeareatingman for his positivity. I was in a downtrodden mood when I had the idea to make this thread, and his post in my journal put me in a good mood, which had me actually turn my idea into action.
